Edge Printing

What is Edge print?

Edge Print enables users to print when they are not on the same network as the printer. Examples include:

  • Your printers are on a secure network and are not exposed to BYOD devices or guest users.
  • Your printers are in a different location and not connected to the same network/LAN.
  • Homeworkers printing to the office or printing documents between branch offices.

We support two deployment methods for Edge Print. Please select your preferred deployment method for more information.

Edge Print with directprint.io cloud

Deploy Edge Print using directprint.io secure cloud storage as the transfer mechanism for print jobs. Can work with Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure AD or directprint.io's internal directory service.

Deploy Edge Print using Google Drive as the storage and transfer mechanism for print jobs. Requires Google Workspace syncronization.
