Printer not working as expected?
Follow these simple steps to implement a configuration that will work with approximately 95% of printers & copiers.
Step 1) Locate your troublesome printer(s)
In the printer list use the search filter to find your printer.
The search field will accept name, quickcode, location, IP address or other printer parameters.
Step 2) Use the check box to select the printer, then click the wrench icon
Step 4) Apply the Socket printing config 'tweak'
For US and Canadian customers using US Letter as their default paper size select fix S1 for Color printers or S3 for Mono printers
For European and customers using A4 as the default select fix S2 (Color )or S4 (Mono).
Step 5) Manually select your driver type (PDL)
Check whether the printer supports PCL6, PostScript3 or PDF.
Using the same tweaker menu, apply one of the following options depending on the printer capability:
P17: PCL6
P23: PostScript 3
P3: PDF
Step 6) Test your printer
