Summary
This guide covers how to remove print privileges for a specific user within a Group or Google OU.
You will need to be using one of the following IDPs to use this feature:
- Azure AD
- Google Workspace
- directprint.io Internal Directory
Instructions
- Navigate to 'individual printer mapping' under Azure, Google Workspace or Internal Directory
- Search for the username (email) of the user that you want to disable printing for.
- Click 'Add user' if they are not already in the right-hand-pane list
- By default they should show as 'Printing disabled' - this is the desired state.
- If they already have printers assigned, click the 'Edit printers' icon and remove all printers from the user.
The user will update within the next 30 minutes or at next log-on.
